It’s been a long 27 years for the unsolved case of the legendary 2Pac Shakur. This past Friday A Nevada grand jury indicted Duane “Keffe D” Davisin Shakur’s death, prosecutors announced in court Friday, charging Davis with murder with use of a deadly weapon in the killing of the rapper. Up until Davis’ indictment, no arrests had been made in the 27-year-old case.

The investigation into Shakur’s death started Sept. 7, 1996, but “it is far from over,” said Kevin McHahill, sheriff of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, during a press conference last week. “It has taken countless hours, really decades of work by the men and women of our homicide section to get to where we are today.”
Suge Knighg stated in a recorded jail call that he would not testify against Keffe D. He claims he wouldn’t wish jail on his worst enemy. This raise suspicion because him and 2Pac were friends. For years there were rumors that Suge had something to do with Pacs murder because PAC wanted to leave Death Row. Those allegation’s were never proven but after years of investigating all the rumors may be put to an end.

2Pac was a beloved artist, Activist, actor and an inspiration to many. His songs told stories that still apply to this crazy world today. 2Pac loved his people and wanted to speak life into them. PAC came from the struggle but always knew he was destined for greatness. He recently received his Star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame. So many tears and questions. I pray his family can now get some peace and Justice. Unfortunately his mother passed before Justice was served but his sister is still alive. Prayers to his family.
