From Friends to Foes! Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion Rap Beef

I hate when my girls fight. I’m going stay neutral just like I do with Cardi’s and Nicki’s beef! I just love them all and I can’t pick a side! I’m sure you see the rap beef all down your timeline. Megan The Stallion released a diss track Hiss and all hell broke lose! Megan dropped a bar in reference to Megan’s Law.

unpunctuated: Megans Law

  1. a law requiring authorities to notify communities of the whereabouts of convicted sex offenders. It was first enacted by New Jersey in 1995.

Megan’s Law is named after seven-year-old Megan Kanka, a New Jersey girl who was raped and killed by a known registered sex offender who had moved across the street from the family without their knowledge. In the wake of the tragedy, the Kankas sought to have local communities warned about sex offenders in the area.

Megan took shots at Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty who is a registered sex offender. Petty ultimately pleaded guilty to attempted rape, serving over four years in prison and being mandated to register as a sex offender. Which has caused Nicki Minaj much backlash from the entertainment industry and fans. Megan took that information and decided to diss Nicki causing her to clack back on Instagram live and on her own diss track Big Foot.

Things are beyond messy! Nicki brought up Megan’s deceased mother and accused her of having sexual relationship with her EX BFFs man! Nicki claims she has receipts to prove her allegations against Megan Thee Stallion. The two were once friends so we thought.

Megan had Nicki in her hit song Hot Girl Summer remix. Once Megan did a song with Cardi B that’s when everything allegedly started. What’s your thoughts, do you think there more to the beef? What happened behind the scenes that made them start hating each other?

Check out each diss track below and tell me what you think? Is this just hardcore rap beef like back in the day? At one point of time in Hip Hop Culture it was normal for Artist to battle to prove who’s the best lyricist. It was more than just catchy words and dance moves. You had to actually wrap that show your talents to be crowned The BEST. Artist would go song for song to display their word play. Artist would hit below the belt and bring up the other persons drama, dirty past etc to win the title. Who y’all got?
